Kamworks and The HALO Trust Turn Mineclearance in Cambodia Solar

Date: 13-12-2010

Kamworks Ltd. has installed a solar system in Beantey Meanchey’s Malay District for use by The HALO Trust (www.halotrust.org) in their ongoing mine clearing operations.  The 800Wp system is designed to be dismantled and reassembled easily in order to transport to different sites as needed.

The System will support mine detection and radio equipment for two sections as well as an entertainment center, lighting and mobile phone charging for HALO personnel.  The majority of The HALO Trust operations take place in off-grid locations and the goal of this trial system is to increase reliance on solar power in the future.
