The 13th of October 2009 the launching ceremony of the Moonlight solar lantern took place. Kamworks Ltd is the first company in Cambodia which is series producing solar products locally. Location of the launch was the Baitong restaurant in Phnom Penh. During the program several speakers will told their story in relation to solar energy, Kamworks and the MoonLight:

• Welcome by Mr. Jeroen VERSCHELLING, Director, Kamworks ltd
• Short speech by H.E. Dr. SAT Samy, Secretary of State, Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy
• Short movie on the development of the MoonLight, Introduced by Mr. J.C. DIEHL, Design for Sustainability, Delft University, The Netherlands
• Short speech and handover of the first Moonlights by the Ambassador of the Netherlands, H.E. Tjaco VAN DEN HOUT, to H.E. Dr. SAT Samy, and to H.E. Dr. SON Soubert, member of Constitutional Council of Cambodia.
• Handover of the first Moonlights by the Ambassador of the Netherlands, H.E. Tjaco VAN DEN HOUT, to rural villagers from Sre Ampil Village, Kien Svay district.
