Kamworks is constantly involved in several solar projects to reach our goals. We made an overview of some recent ongoing projects.

Teaching children

Awareness raising
Cambodia has plenty of sunshine what makes it an interesting solution for energy in rural areas. A problem is only to make people understand what the sun can do for them. Knowledge about solar energy is not well spread in Cambodia. To overcome this barrier we started a campaign to raise awareness

Solar Battery Station
Still today do the majority of rural family households rely on car-batteries for their energy needs. It is common to see people bringing their battery to a battery recharge station every 2-3 days. Batteries are charged by diesel generators at these stations. The solar battery station project replaces the generator with solar panels. Read more

Rental program
We develop several solutions to make our consumer products available for rural families. The rental program is one of them. The project solves the problem poor families have with paying our products upfront. Read more
